You make the call

Hunter skippered the Rangers for part of 1977 and part of 1978. He appears here on his 1978 card which I obtained with the autograph already in place. Not being familiar with Bill's signature I assume it is authentic because I doubt there is much to be made in forging his autograph.

I have been meaning to ask for some feedback from any readers I might have. Do you like the way the blog is going? Have any suggestions? Any player, year, or company you would like to see featured. If so leave a comment and I will see what I can do. If I have a card in my collection I probably don't mind posting it.

First, I love the blog. It is completely enjoyable.
Since you asked, I'd like to request Rick Stelmaszek, who appears on a 1973 Topps Rookies catchers card in a Rangers' uniform.
Rick is a long-time neighbor of mine and his 28 years with the Twins puts him at the top of the list of current coaches with a team. I was just a kid when he played for the hometown Chicago Cubs. All of the neighborhood kids were excited about knowing a real player (and a Cub no less). He's always been a super guy.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll take a look and see if I have that card.

Well, I checked and I don't have the Stelmaszek card. In fact I only have five cards from that year. When I get it I will post it though.

I'd say 'More Hamilton' but he doesn't exactly have glut of stuff out there. Next year, I'll probably be drowning in Rangers cards of his....

1) I love this card. I have it in my collection too from when I was a kid. I believe there was also a Burger King version that was almost identical except for the number.
2) I think you're doing a great job with your blog. I know it can get frustrating as a blogger not to get feedback. You get more than I do. But you post more often and probably have more traffic. I'm not much of a baseball collector, but growing up watching the Rangers, I have to come by here several times a week just to see what new items you've posted
3) Regarding players, I would selfishly request anything with Scott Sheldon. I'm a big University of Houston fan so I like to see Coogs like Sheldon on blogs.

Thanks for the feedback Coog. I know that Burger King did put out a set in 1978. The only one I have though is Jon Matlack. Funny thing with that one is that his regular Topps issue is with the Mets and his BK issue is with Texas.

I will look to see what I have of Sheldon and see if I can work up a post on him. Thanks for the request.
