
1990 was one of the few years that Donruss made its All-Star cards as part of the regular set rather than as a separate oversize set. This card doesn't have much going for it but there is one aspect that is a nice touch. Ruben's position is listed as "RF" or right field. I like that. Lots of times all three outfielders are listed only as "OF" for outfield. I like to see the specific positions given for a change of pace.
