Starting a rough stretch

The Rangers started their last series in the Bronx last night by winning 2-1. C.J. Wilson got the save by getting Alex Rodriguez, Jason Giambi, and Jorge Posada to go 1-2-3 to end the ninth. Josh Hamilton made the save possible with his 80th RBI.

Not having any more cards of Hamilton I am instead posting C.J. Wilson's 2008 Topps card. It is number 214 in the set.

C.J. often makes nerves fray when he comes into a game to close it out and has had several rough outings this year. Last night though he ran through the last three batters like a veteran.

Texas has a rough stretch going into the All-Star break. Starting off with the Yankees, they will play the Orioles, Angels, and White Sox before the break. It would be nice to see them still at .500 or better at the end of that. Beating the Yanks last night is a good start.
