Bill Gogolewski appears today on card number 242 of the 1974 Topps set. He didn't appear at all for the Rangers in 1974 though.On December 5, 1973 the Texas got pitcher Steve Hargan from Cleveland for a player to be named later. On March 23, 1974 Bill was named as that player and sent off to the Indians.
Must have been a real downer for Gogolewski. The back of his 1974 card states that he had purchased a home in Texas. Not the best timing.
